Support

Common questions, then a direct line to a human.

How do I cancel my subscription? +

On your iPhone, open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Nixd → Cancel Subscription. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. If you cancel during the 3-day trial, you won't be charged.

I just paid and I want a refund. +

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us — we never touch your payment. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Nixd charge, and request a refund. Apple usually responds within 48 hours. If they say no and you have a strong case, email us and we'll help advocate.

I lost my streak / progress. +

Sign out and back in with the same Apple ID — your data is server-side, not device-side, so it should reappear. If it doesn't, email us with the Apple ID email you signed in with and we'll restore it.

I want to change from cold turkey to taper (or vice versa). +

Settings → Plan → Switch method. Your existing streak and history carry over. The plan recalculates around your current date.

Notifications stopped showing up. +

iOS sometimes silently revokes notification permissions, especially after a focus mode change. Settings → Notifications → Nixd → make sure 'Allow Notifications' is on. If it's on and they still don't fire, restart the app.

I want to delete my account and all my data. +

Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your record and personal data within 30 days. If you also want to delete the App Store record, that's a separate Apple flow. Aggregated, anonymous analytics may persist.

Will Nixd work on Android? +

Not yet. Nixd is iOS-only today. We don't have a public Android timeline.

I have feedback / a bug / a feature idea. +

Email feedback@nixdapp.com. A real human reads every message. Bugs get triaged within 48 hours; feature ideas go in a public-ish list we share with active users.

How do I report something that's harming me? +

If you're in crisis: in the U.S., call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Nixd is not a substitute for emergency mental-health care. If you're a Nixd user dealing with severe withdrawal symptoms, talk to a doctor — quitting nicotine is generally safe, but everyone's body is different.
